Our first event was a great success. We opened the art exhibition, "This is what a feminist looks like," to more than fifty art lovers who came out to support our event. I also live streamed the exhibition in a Google + Hangout where more than 50 people from around the world came to join the conversation and view the art work. Here is our poster that lists upcoming events through out the summer in Antigonish. The next event, a Mini Farmers Market, will be held in Chisholm Park, July 6, 2:00-6:00 p.m (July 8 Rain date) and promotes tourism, culture and awareness for the Resisting Violence: Women and Girls Take Action project.
